Preserve & Golf Course

In the center of the community is an approximate 640 acres nature preserve, which is deeded to the MPOA in perpetuity.  The nature preserve is surrounded by a 18-hole Championship golf course, which is operated as a semi-private golf course.  It is classified as semi-private and members can join on an annual basis or the public can play on a daily basis.  The golf course has a 10,000 square foot clubhouse which is open to both members and the public for lunch and dinners.

The community includes 2 shopping centers.  The largest is The Cypress Village Shopping Center and is owned by Benderson Development, one of the nation's largest shopping center owners.  It was completely renovated in 2008.  It is anchored by Home Depot and Bealls Department store.  The center includes offices of various professionals (ie. Doctors, lawyers, and a veterinarian).
